You may receive a phone call, someday, informing you about suspicious activity on your bank account and it may seem like the caller is telling the truth, which is why you should ALWAYS confirm who you are talking to before giving away personal information (bank account, SSN, etc.). There are a couple of ways to do this:
- Ask for the caller’s bank name and phone number.
- Do not click on any links that the caller may send you.
- Do not share any personal information with phone numbers that you have never seen before.
